We are QD Sciences, Inc. located in NC USA.  We are focusing on commercializing our technology.  We have a PCT PATENT; additionally we have 12 technologies that are patents pending in the clean energy field. We at QD Sciences believe that any CO2 mitigation starts with a clean source of CO2.  Thus we are concentrating our commercialization efforts with the TR-Ultra Clean Stack Plant.

For ALGAE & BIOFUELS, QDS Inc. has the technology to be the most economical supplier of CLEAN CO2 from a flue gas source. QDS has the technology to supply 100% metal free, completely clean CO2.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ALGAE & BIOFUELS INDUSTRIES?  

QDS technology can remove all the toxins from stack and separate and clean CO2 from coal, oil, gas, and waste fired power plants, cement manufactures etc.

 We have successfully developed a low cost, high efficiency: AIR POLLUTION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY.  This technology is for any capacity and can be applicable to any industry that emits gases from a stack.

A minimum of 98% efficiency has been obtained through this single process to capture and hold such pollutant chemical compounds as:  COx, SOx, NOx,  nitrous oxide (N20), haloflurocarbons, CH4, HO (hydroxide), H2S, Aldehit (H-CHO), Mercury (Hg), Hydrogen Florid (HF), Trifluoromethane (HFC-23), phosphor (P), lead, SnO2 micro crystals, (Cl2), Vinyl Chloride (C2H3Cl) volatile organic compounds (VOC), sulphur hexafluoride (SF6), particulate matter, odor, etc. as well as separate and contain clean metal free CO2.

WHERE CAN QDS TECHNOLOGY BE USED?  

COAL FIRED POWER PLANT:

The thermal energy content of coal is 6,150 kWh/ton. Although coal fired power generators are very efficient, they are still limited by the laws of thermodynamics.

Only about 40 percent of the thermal energy in coal is converted to electricity.

So the electricity generated per ton of coal is 0.4 x 6,150 kWh or 2,460 kWh/ton.

A typical 500 megawatt coal power plant produces 3.5 billion kWh per year. To produce this amount of electrical energy, the plant burns ~ 1.43 million tons of coal.

It also produces:

SO2 = 10,000 TONS

NOX = 10,200 TONS

CO2 = 3,700.000 TONS

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR POLLUTANT INDUSTRIES? 

The cost of removing these toxins is less than $5 for each ton of coal or any other fuel.

New remarkable techniques are now able to convert these toxins into fertilizers to be safely degraded into the environment.

To meet the new coming regulations and stay within permitted limits, we remove toxins, with 98% efficiency.

QDS technology CO2 removal allows 90% of clean CO2 recovery from the QX used liquid to provide for ALGAE farmers and other commercial uses.

Installation, turnkey is possible without interrupting production.

QDS has developed technology to remove fly ash, particulate matters and metals at 100% efficiency and BECAUSE THE QX LIQUID IS ~ 100% RECYCLCABLE, the operation cost is maximum $1 / ton fuel.

FROM ALGAE TO ETHANOL PRODUCTION THE FREE, CLEAN CO2;

The QDS technology promises to capture and transfer the CO2 into green houses or any other CO2 end users and to ALGAE TO ETHANOL producers, the fuel of the new century is Ethanol obtained from ALGAE, and ALGAE desperately needs CO2 to grow faster and obtain extremely high yields.
